Welcome to Purple Sage Paints,We are a family owned and operated small breeding operation.Our goal is to raise quality not quantity tobiano paint horses with a pedigree you usually do not find in a tobiano paint horse. Our breeding program is designed to produce a paint horse that is going to be versatile as well as pleasing to the eye.

The three stallions that we stand carry qualities such as; a good mind, conformation, very trainable, and athletic. We require the same qualities for our broodmares. Our horses are bred to be able to go in any direction, from ranch work,trail riding, roping, reining, pleasure, speed events and halter. It is important to us to produce a quality bred horse. Good minds first and paint markings second. Paint horses are our passion but a painted horse with a poor attitude or conformation doesn’t do anyone any good.

We are located in the south west corner of Colorado where we stand three stallions and have a band of well bred broodmares. We offer breeding services and horses for sale. 2012 foals are here. You can see the foals for 2012 here, along with a few mares for sale at the salebarn.
